Has To Be A Cat is a logic puzzle in the same family as Queens-style grid games. Every board is an 8x8 grid split into 8 irregularly shaped color regions. Your job is to place exactly one cat in every row, every column, and every color region — with no two cats touching, even diagonally — until all 8 are placed correctly.
Click an empty cell to place a cat. If the placement breaks any of the three rules, the offending cells flash red and you lose one of your three lives. Click a placed cat again to turn it into an ✕ mark — handy for noting cells you've ruled out — and click the ✕ once more to clear it. Every puzzle is randomly generated, so no two games are exactly alike, and every board is solvable.
Create a private match to get a 6-character room code, share it with a friend, and once you're both connected the game starts with a synced 3-2-1 countdown. From there it's a race — whoever completes their board correctly first wins.
